Some homes are really tastefully decorated and presented, this is one of them! There’s a real harmony in this room and I love shooting homes as elegant as this. With the fire place taking centre stage here, ‘WOW’ indeed to the delicate balance of colour and the inviting feel of this sitting room.

Victorian sitting room, Leamington Spa

Autumn is a lovely time of year to photograph exteriors. Although homeowners are constantly clearing fallen leaves the colour on offer is glorious. Shooting this property at height allowed me to capture the depth of this home and the far reaching views behind, showing off the amazing Autumnal colour.

Twilight shoots are a great way of helping a property stand out amongst others. It took some time to light up this beautifully designed building. Lots of work was involved on location and in photoshop but I certainly think it was worth it! 

The thinking behind this image was to show the equestrian arena in relation to the main house behind. A big thanks to Amy here who expertly guided the horse into position.  With the sun shining right on cue I was able to capture the lifestyle of living and riding at this equestrian property. 

An aerial drone proved to be very useful in showing this property. It's the only way of showing the main house, garaging and land belonging to this property in Warwickshire not too far from Henley-in-Arden. It also had approximately eight acres of land shown to the left. Timing here was key to catch the sunlight. It had been raining for much of the day but the forecast did predict it would brighten just before the sun dropped in the afternoon. Long shadows can be problematic at this time of year, but I feel the light lifts this scene so well. So it's a big thank you to the (many) weather apps I follow for their spot on predictions.. (this time!)

There are few better places to be than a drawing room in a Victorian property packed full of original features. This one nestled in the Worcestershire countryside. Getting a good shape to a flame can be easier said than done, but I feel it adds the cherry on the cake here. With the nights drawing in who wouldn't want to spend their evenings in front of this?!
