Twilight shoots are a great way of helping a property stand out amongst others. It took some time to light up this beautifully designed building. Lots of work was involved on location and in photoshop but I certainly think it was worth it!
This month's update a little later than usual, as I've just returned from a short holiday to Budapest. We enjoyed some much needed r&r, and our warm weather clothing was also needed! It's safe to say that Hungary is also pretty chilly at this time of year. This month's photo was taken from nearly 400 feet, the maximum altitude I'm permitted to fly. Anything higher than this is into helicopter territory. I was capturing the relationship here between the farmhouse, the formal gardens and several paddocks belonging to it. Thanks to the drone I was able to capture the property with all of it's land in one image. Sadly I don't 'feel' in control enough piloting with gloves on, so my fingers just about held out to land the aircraft before they dropped off.
There are few better places to be than a drawing room in a Victorian property packed full of original features. This one nestled in the Worcestershire countryside. Getting a good shape to a flame can be easier said than done, but I feel it adds the cherry on the cake here. With the nights drawing in who wouldn't want to spend their evenings in front of this?!
